Hi Steve,
Great start! It sounds like you have some idea of the industry you want to work in.
Try a rewrite of your mission statement that starts with" Provide a professional sports organization with..." Your employer is your customer. Then state what needs they have that you will fulfill and how.
Your vision needs to be your dream. 5 years or so from now, what would you like to be.
Your values should be your beliefs. Take the descriptors you listed and turn them into belief statements or things you know to be true.
In your distinctive competencies try either experienced traveler or willing to travel or something that describes what it is about travel that makes you different. Communication also needs some modifiers or explanation.
