charles jordan handy question blogg 15 question#2 for toyota
Toyota culture is defiantly been changing over the years. The company use to be known has the Japanese company that would put out a decent car for a low price. But over the year they have changed, they listen to the people who they sell there cars to. Also they want to be more American so they have done things such as making one of the best trucks in America and also they have joined NASCAR. They are the first non American car in the NASCAR circuit. Toyota now is starting to have more Americans move up in management positions instead of Japanese because they want the edge for the American market.

charles handy question #3
Toyota organizational structure is what makes them so successful. They are defiantly a multi divisional company. But all the divisions work together in a line, this helps them keep there quality up compared to other car companies. There most important division is there research department, many companies have how a R&D but most upper management don’t really listen, but Toyota does this helps them focus there development team, then there advertising and so on and so on. With out this structure to follow Toyota would lack that edge they have over the market.
Ryan MacKinnon Toyota question #4
I wasn't able to find out if Toyota is a tall or flat structure. However it states in the textbook that many high tech companies strive for service and quality. Most of the time these companies even have a flat structure. So I feel that Toyota considering its high demand for customer satisfaction that they are focused on the flat structure. I tried researching for the correct answer but it was taking way to long. But considering how well they are doing in the car industry they can't be a tall structure. In order to have success in a short period of time you need to be a flat structure so the word gets around faster than a tall structure.
